Painted marble columns for city hall

Serpentine Marble
Memorial Hall City Hall, Kingston Ontario
The project consisted of prepping, priming and applying Serpentine marble finish to four of the columns
for the City Memorial Hall of Kingston Ontario.
Robert restored the columns to their beautiful finish.
Robert raised the funds through donations himself and donated one column.

Painted new plaster to specification provided by Public Works Canada
painted ceiling, walls, trim, doors, remove paint coatings from two areas over period wood, graining
consolidate, in painting, reproduce wood graining on floors, frames & doors.
Strip paints from the Walnut, Oak & Black Walnut staircase & railing & hand rail & refinish with varnish.
Marble plaster work
Bronze powders applied with Roman gilding technique.
Exterior: painting of roof area & dormers
